I create healthy, positive, and meaningful connections with teens and enjoy using creative approaches including art, journaling, music, and a sense of humor. My goal is to help adolescents build self-awareness and discover the best version of themselves.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has specialized in working with adolescents since 2010. I received my undergraduate education in Psychology from the University of Georgia and a Master's Degree in Professional Counseling from Texas State University. In graduate school, I completed a thesis studying Spirituality as a facet of Identity Development. I was selected to present these findings at the American Counseling Association National Conference and this research continues to influence me today.

I have worked in a variety of mental health settings including a Residential Treatment Facility, Drug and Alcohol Abuse Center, University Community Counseling Center, and a non-profit, family counseling organization in Williamson County. My favorite part about my work is creating relationships and watching people grow and change every day.

For fun, I enjoy reading, being outside, and riding horses. Outside the office, you will find me at my favorite coffee shop, Cherrywood Coffee, or volunteering at Maplewood Elementary School.
ATX Counseling is centrally located at 38th and Lamar across the street from Central Market on the 2nd floor of the MedSpring building.
