Kate received her undergraduate education in Psychology from the University of Georgia and a Master's Degree in Professional Counseling from Texas State University. Kate has worked in a variety of mental health settings including a Residential Treatment Facility, Drug and Alcohol Abuse Center, University Community Counseling Center, and a non-profit, family counseling organization. For fun, Kate enjoys reading, dancing, and getting coffee. Outside the office, you will find her running after her adorable toddlers - identical twin boys, Hugo and Remy! |
Katherine Wheelock, LMSW

Katherine received her undergraduate education at Washington & Lee University. After a career in journalism, she pursued her long-held wish to become a therapist. Following a graduate certificate in counseling psychology at City University in London and training in existential, humanistic and psychodynamic psychotherapy at Regent’s University, also in London, Katherine landed at the University of Texas at Austin, where she received her Master’s in Social Work.
Katherine has worked as a therapist in elementary schools, high schools and in inpatient psychiatric care. She brings her relational approach to work with individuals, couples, families and groups. Katherine has a particular interest in working with adolescents, young adults and couples, as well as individuals navigating life transitions, grief and loss and perinatal mental health issues. For fun, Katherine spends time exploring Austin with friends and family—her partner and three young children—and travels, cooks, and reads as much as possible. |
Anne Vickers, LMSW

Anne recieved her undergraduate education at Furman University and her graduate degree as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from the University of Houston. Anne has extensive career experience working with adolescents and adults experiencing trauma, as well as training and experience in clinical assessment, development and implementation of effective client therapeutic plans, and individual and group counseling for clients with dual diagnoses. Anne's particular interests are in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Group Therapy. Prior to obtaining an LMSW, she had 10 years of experience working with diverse and low income populations in the non-profit sector. For fun, Anne loves to run in the park with her dog, find fun spots for Taco Tuesday, and indulge in Marvel movie marathons. |
Emily Siegler, M.Ed., LPC-Associate

Emily Siegler completed her undergraduate education at the University of Kansas and received a Master’s degree in Human Development Counseling at Vanderbilt University. Emily has experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with chronic pain, severe mental health concerns, as well as facilitating mindfulness-based psychoeducational group therapy. Emily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and a sensorimotor approach in her work with clients as well as relational and mindfulness-based techniques. Emily recently moved to Austin from Nashville, TN. She enjoys swimming at Barton Springs, playing tennis, and eating ice-cream. Emily is excited to learn more about all Austin has to offer! |

Michelle is our wonderful student intern helping out with various projects around the office. Michelle is from Dallas, TX and is studying Psychology at the University of Texas. After college, Michelle plans to pursue graduate school and work in community health. |
