Therapy Austin

At ATX Counseling, we keep our practice small to tailor your therapy to your individual needs. Our team includes four passionate therapists, a Client Care Coordinator , and a student psychology intern.

We are not a giant practice where you will get lost; instead, we pride ourselves on being fully committed to your care.

In-Person Therapy for Better Outcomes

We believe in the importance of in-person therapy.  If you have experienced trauma, anxiety, relationship difficulties, identity struggles, or depression, in-person sessions will create a better container for you to heal.  We believe coming in-person is more confidential, more therapeutic, and more effective than online therapy.

Teen Therapy

Being a tween and teen in today's world is hard.  Between Covid, social media, and all the emotional ups and downs of life, it's important to have a guide to help navigate this time of life.  A good therapist means you don't have to do it alone and can provide insights and coping skills to help no matter what life brings.

Therapy for Emerging Adults

Learning how to adult is complicated, confusing, and full of big feelings.  This time in life is so important and the stakes feel high.  Making big decisons about your career, where you want to live, and who you are can be overwhelming.  Finding a safe person to talk to can help you identify your needs, your stregths, and provide insights into how to get more of what you want right now.

Therapy for Adults

Adulthood brings about a season of competing priorities and responsiblities - career, family, relationships, and health can seem to all work against each other.  It's important that you take some time for you to better understand how to best navigate this time of life.  In doing so, you can bring your best to all you do.
